Day 1: Arrival - Oslo - Explore Oslo 

 

• Check-In at the accommodation, centrally located and close to major attractions.

• Walking tour of the main street, Karl Johans gate. ( info would be provided in the guidebook )

• You spend your time walking and getting to know this city.

• Try local drinks and food at Grünerløkka.

Day 2: Explore Oslo

 

• Breakfast at a local cafe

• Visit the beautiful "Vigeland Sculpture Park" known for displaying the works of Gustav Vigeland.

• Explore Kvadraturen - the Historical center of Oslo., home to old buildings, museums, and art galleries.

• Take the walk up to the Royal Palace from Karl Johan gate and explore the streets around it.​

• Take a stroll around Aker Brygge with its modern architecture, lively promenade and nightlife.

Day 3: Norway in a Nutshell Tour /  Arrive Flam

 

• Check out and start early with your Norway in a Nutshell Tour.

• Enjoy one of the world’s most scenic train journeys from Oslo.

• Transfer to Flåm with an even more scenic and captivating train ride.

• Check in at the accommodation in Flåm.

• If possible, do a journey to "Stegastein View Point".

Day 4: Continue with Norway in a Nutshell Tour /  Arrive Bergen

 

• Continue with your onward journey from Flåm to Bergen.

• Take the cruise in between, exploring the Fjords of Bergen.

• Reach Bergen and check in at the centrally located accommodation.

• Enjoy the beautiful city with a very laidback vibe.

Day 5: Explore Bergen

 

• Explore Bryggen, the wooden neighborhood of Bergen.

• Head out to one of the prettiest spots in the city, Mt.Fløyen.

• End your evening with an amazing panoramic view of the city..

• Evening in Bergen - a very beautiful city with a backdrop of mountains.

Day 6: Flight from Bergen to Svolvaer with 1 stop layover / Explore Svolvaer

 

• Take the flight from Bergen to Svolvaer

• Check into accommodation

• Explore the town centre

• Visit Lofoten War Memorial Museum

• Evening, optional Northern Lights Tour​​​

Day 7: Explore Svolvaer

 

• Explore Svolvaer self-guided

• Take a hybrid-electric boat cruise into the narrow Trollfjord to spot sea eagles

• Go on a cultural visit to famous museum, aquarium, etc.

• Explore more of Svolvaer's sights (viewpoints, galleries)​

 

Day 8: Explore Svolvaer 

 

• Peruse outdoor activitities like fishing, kayaking, hiking, etc.

• Alternatively, explore the nearby local villages like Nusfjord or Henningsvær, named “Venice of Lofoten”.

• Evening, stroll along the waterfront

 

Day 9: Flight from Svolvaer to Tromso / Northern Lights tour

• Take the flight from Svolvaer to Tromso

• Check into your accommodation

• Take a leisurely walk around the city centre

• Explore Tromsø's charming streets and historic buildings

• Evening head for your Northern Lights tour.

Day 10: Explore Tromsø

• Visit the Arctic Cathedral (Tromsdalen Church) and take in its striking architecture

• Visit the Polaria aquarium and experience Arctic marine life up close or visit the Polar Museum

• Take a cable car ride up to Mount Storsteinen for panoramic views of Tromsø and the surrounding fjords

• In the evening head out for the Chasing the Northern Lights tour if unlucky the previous night (50% of the amount to be paid if going again)

Day 11: Departure  

​

• Flight from Tromso to Oslo

• Take the flight back to India
