Trip Itinerary

 

Day 1: Welcome to Sri Lanka 

 

  • Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your driver and transferred to Negombo, located close to the airport.

  • Negombo is a traditional fishing town in Sri Lanka. Walk along the coastal road of Negombo, where most of the hotels are located.

Day 2 & Day 3 : Negombo | Habarana

 

  • Today you will head to Habarana, a small city in Sri Lanka’s Anuradhapura District.

  • From here, you can easily go around exploring the Cultural Triangle, including Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, and Anuradhapura. 

  • Head on to a day trip to Polonnaruwa, as well as enjoy a jeep safari to the Minneriya National Park.

Day 4 & Day 5: Habarana | Kandy 

 

  • Today you will be heading to Kandy. The last capital of the Sinhalese monarchy.

  • Explore the city on your own.

  • Stop at one of the many tea houses and try a delicious cup of tea with a slice of butter cake. Try the restaurant "Cafe Secret Alley”.

Day 6 & Day 7: Kandy | Ahangama

 

  • From Kandy, you will move to Ahangama, which offers quiet, uncrowded beaches, while the nearby Koggala River and Lake attract nature lovers.

  • Explore Koggala, a wide-stretched village with beautiful beaches and surf spots.

  • The next day, go on a day trip to Galle.

Day 8: Ahangama | Colombo (Kingsbury Hotel)

 

  • Today, transfer to Colombo. Its natural harbor was a magnet for successive traders and conquerors.

  • Explore the city on your own.

Day 9: Time to Say Goodbye

 

  • Say goodbye to the island’s magical healing powers, the serendipitous quality that permeates its tropical air
