Trip Itinerary

 

Your trip starts in Vientiane.

Day 1 - Vientiane​

 

• Check in to your accommodation &  head out for food.

• Start your travel by a tuk-tuk ride around the city

• Visit the famous Patuxai Victory Monument and later head to Chao Anouvong Park for sunset

• End the evening at the very famous night market for food and cultural interaction.

 

Day 2 - Vientiane

 

• Start your day by visiting the sacred and one of the most beautiful temples of Lao "PHA THAT LUANG".

• Visit the Lao National Museum ( not included + Optional ).

• Explore the Buddha Park and visit the beautiful "Haw Phra Kaew" temple or the seated Buddha "Wat Si Saket."

• Lunch at the local market.

• Enjoy a traditional Lao herbal massage ( optional ).

• Chill in the evening at the walking street.

• Free to explore the city by yourself.

Day 3- Vang Vieng​

 

• Arrival early morning in Vang Vieng.

• Check in to your accommodation.

• Walking tour of the town + Food + Tubing activity ( optional ).

• Enjoy outdoor sports ( optional ).

• In the evening, leisure time at the local bars.

Day 4 - Luang Prabang

 

• Arrival in Luang Prabang.

• Check in to your accommodation.

• Walking tour of the city + Food.

• Visit "Haw Kham" - the Royal Palace of Luang Prabang.

• In the evening, head to "Vat Xieng Tong," the oldest monastery.

• Sunset by the Mekong River.

 

Day 5 - Luang Prabang

 

• Start your day by taking a half-day trip to the botanical garden.

• Lunch at a local restaurant.

• You are free to explore the city by yourself.

• Head for a river sunset cruise in the evening.

 

Day 6 - Cruise ride from Luang Prabang to Huay Xai 

 

• In the morning, start your onward journey to Thailand with a slow river cruise along the beautiful Mekong River.

• The journey takes you through the beautiful landscapes of Laos.

• Sunset at Pakbeng.

• Overnight stay at Pakbeng.  

 

Day 7- En route to Huay Xai 

 

• Start your day with a great breakfast at your accommodation.

• The cruise continues with a visit to a traditional Lao village. 

• Visit the cave of the 1000 Buddhas.

• Reach Huay Xai immigration.

• Move to Chiang Khong by crossing the Thailand-Lao Friendship Bridge.

 

Day 8 - Chiang Khong

 

• Start early in the morning by taking a day trip to the Golden Triangle (optional).

• Return by evening for sunset by the river.

• Night market and leisure time in the city.

 

Day 9 - Chiang Mai 

 

• Transfer to Chiang Mai, the cultural capital of Northern Thailand.

• Check in to your accommodation + Food.

• Walking tour of the Old City's inner walls and outer walls.

• Watch a game of Muay Thai ( if possible ).

• Enjoy the evening exploring the local markets and nightlife.

 

Day 10 - Chiang Mai  

 

• Breakfast and check out.

• Half-day trip to the "Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep." 

• Rest of the day at leisure.

• Late-night bus or train to Bangkok.

 

Day 11 - Bangkok

 

• Arrival in Bangkok.

• Check in to your accommodation + Food.

• Leisure day in Bangkok.

• Small party at the famous Khao San Road. 

 

Day 12 - Trip ends
