Trip Itinerary

 

​Day 1:Arrive in Reykjavik.​

  

• Arrive in Reykjavik.

• Meeting point at the accommodation. The accommodation will be centrally located in downtown Reykjavik and close to major attractions.

• Food and Walking tour of the city.

• Visit one of the most beautiful churches in the city.

• Overnight stay in Reykjavik.

 

Days 2 & 3: Snæfellsjökull National Park

 

• After breakfast, we head out to explore Snæfellsjökull National Park in West Iceland, often referred to as “Iceland in a Nutshell.”

• We make our way to West Iceland, on our stay over 2 days, we will be exploring the following sights: Hraunfossar, Barnafoss, Deildartunguhver hot springs, Reykholt, Gerðuberg, Arnarstapi, Vatnshellir lava cave, Lóndrangar, Djúpalónssandur black beach, Saxhóll, Kirkjufell.

• We also visit the lava cave ( entrance included ).

• Stay overnight, and the next day we make our way to Reykjavik for a night's stay.

 

Day 4: Leisure day, Reykjavik - evening Northern Lights tour  

 

• After breakfast, you have free time to explore Reykjavik. 

• Evening Northern Lights tour.

Day 5 & 6: Explore South Coast - Ice Cave & Waterfalls & Jokulsarlon & Vatnajokull

 

• After breakfast, you head out to explore one of the most beautiful parts of Iceland - the glacier lagoon, Jokulsarlon, also the Vatnajokull National Park, which takes you inside the white/ blue Ice cave 

• On  your way to South Iceland, on our stay over 2 days, you would be exploring the following sights: Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Skógafoss Waterfall, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Villages of Vik, Northern Lights Search, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Natural Ice Cave, Vatnajökull Glacier, Diamond Beach, Skaftafell Nature Reserve

• Stay overnight, and the next day return to Reykjavik for a night’s stay.

Day 7: Blue Lagoon + Reykjavik

 

• Afternoon, head for your Blue Lagoon tour with transfers included 

• Northern Lights tour 

 

Day 8: The trip ends at the hostel

 

• After breakfast, you can head back to India or continue your trip.

• The transfer arrangements have to be made from your end to the airport
