Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival - Oslo - Explore Oslo  

  

• Check in at the accommodation, centrally located and close to all the places you will be exploring, the capital city has a lot to offer.

• Walking tour of the main street, Karl Johans gate. 

• Explore the local market of Oslo.

• Try local drinks and local food.

• Dinner and drinks at Grünerløkka.

Day 2: Explore Oslo  

​

• Breakfast near the accommodation.

• Explore the center and all major streets with a half-day walking tour of the city.

• Lunch at a local restaurant.

• Visit the Vigeland Park.

• The night is all yours.

 

 Day 3: Oslo - Norway in a Nutshell tour / Overnight Flåm

 

• Early breakfast at the accommodation.

• Start your day with a tour of Flåm on one of the most scenic train rides from Oslo to Flåm.

• Enjoy the beautiful train rides from Myrdal to Flåm.

• Spend a night in the middle of the Norwegian nature village Flåm.

Day 4: Continue with the tour / Stay in Bergen 

​

• Early breakfast at the accommodation or a village café.

• Start your day with a tour from Flåm exploring the fjords

• We head to Bergen, known as the gateway to the Fjords

• Evening in Bergen - a very beautiful city with a backdrop of mountains

• The night is all yours.

Day 5:  Fly from Bergen to Tromsø / Northern Lights tour 

​

• We move to our next destination, Tromsø - also known as the Capital of North Norway. 

• Check in at the accommodation.

• Lunch at a local cafe.

• Small walking tour of the city.

• In the evening, head for the Northern Light Chase tour - Book in advance.

Day 6: Husky tour 

​

• Breakfast at the accommodation.

• Husky tour with pick up and drop off from Tromsø.

• Explore the harbor of the city.

​

Day 7: Check out / Explore Tromsø / Cruise from Tromsø to Kirkenes

 

• Have breakfast and then check out. 

• Visit the Arctic Cathedral.

• Hike to the Tromsø mountain.

• Board Cruise from Tromsø to Kirkenes with a Polar cabin INDISE with all meals included.

• This journey offers a breathtaking view of Norway’s rugged Arctic coastline, illuminated by the winter light, or even the northern lights if you’re lucky!

Day 8: On Board

• Cruise Tour while onboard to Nordkapp - experience the raw beauty of the Arctic Circle.

• The ship offers relaxing lounges with large windows for viewing the dramatic landscapes, including fjords, small fishing villages, and possibly some wildlife.

Day 9: Reach Kirkenes - Stay at Snowhotel / King Crab tour 

​

• Arrive in Kirkenes, known as the gateway to the Barents region.

• Check into the Snowhotel, an iconic, beautifully crafted ice hotel featuring snow-carved rooms and Arctic decorations.

• Join the King Crab Safari.

• This Arctic adventure allows you to go out onto a frozen fjord to catch king crabs, followed by a cozy meal where you’ll enjoy your fresh catch.

• Return to the Snowhotel for a unique overnight stay in one of their ice rooms or warm cabins, with access to the hotel’s cozy common areas.

Day 10: Kirkenes -  Check out - Transfer to Ivalo / Stay at Ivalo

 

• After breakfast, check out from the Snowhotel.

• Transfer to Ivalo, Finland, which takes you across the beautiful snowy landscapes of the far north.

• Arrive in Ivalo and check into your accommodation.

• Spend a relaxing evening preparing for the next leg of your Arctic adventure or enjoy some of the cozy Finnish hospitality.

 

Day 11: Transfer to Igloo Resort / Stay at Glass Igloo 

 

• After breakfast - Check out - leave for the Igloo resort.

• Reach by afternoon - Check in at the accommodation.

• Explore the Igloo resort.

• If you want to go on a tour, you can pick from many tours at the resort.

• Evening, relax at your Igloo stay and hopefully enjoy the Northern Lights from your Igloo.

Day 12: Transfer to Rovaniemi / Northern Lights tour 

​

• After breakfast, transfer to Rovaniemi.

• Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland, is home to an eclectic – and unusual – array of museums.

• Arrive in the morning by flight.

• Check in at boutique accommodation, centrally located,  and close to all the places we would be exploring.

• After settling in, start exploring the beautiful Rovaniemi town. Make yourself comfortable - relax and enjoy the very first day at leisure.

• Visit the local markets and try some local Finnish Lapland food.

• Evening, head out for a guided tour of Northern Lights Chase - Bonfire + Cookies + Hot tea and guidance from a very professional photographer.

Day 13: Polar Ice Breaker Cruise

​

• Today, after breakfast, kickstart start to the day with a cruise.

• Head for the Polar Icebreaker cruise.

• Next visit Husky / Reindeer farms.

• OR head to the Arctic Snow hotel and experience something different ( Subject to opening ).

• Evening at leisure or head out for a Lappish dinner experience.

Day 14: Explore Rovaniemi / Santa Claus Village / Overnight train to Helsinki

​

• Today, have a late start to the day

• Post breakfast, head for a tour of the Santa Claus village, where you visit and meet Santa Claus in person.

• Explore the village till late evening.

• Return to the accommodation. 

• Catch an overnight train to Helsinki.

Day 15: Explore Helsinki

​

• Early morning arrival - check-in - Start your day with Breakfast at the accommodation.

• Head out for a self-guided walking tour of the city 

• Lunch at a local restaurant.

• Post Lunch, take a ferry and head to the UNESCO World Heritage site - Suomenlinna.

• After returning in the evening, head for a great Sauna experience, which is a must when in Finland.

• Head back to the accommodation late at night after a sauna experience. ​

Day 16: Depart back to India

• Move to the airport.

• Return flight to India.
