Trip Itinerary

 

Day 1: Arrival - Helsinki - Explore Helsinki

 

• You need to reach Helsinki by afternoon or evening.

• Check in at the accommodation, centrally located and close to major attractions. The capital city has a lot to offer.

• Visit the Helsinki Christmas Market 

• Enjoy the cafe culture and nightlife of this city.

• The night is free. You may visit A21 Decades Bar for drinks.

 

Day 2: Explore Helsinki 

 

• After breakfast, head out for a self-guided walking tour of the Helsinki.

• Visit the Aleksanterinkatu – one of the main streets of the city.

• Visit the Helsinki Cathedral

• Take a ferry and visit UNESCO World Heritage site - Suomenlinna

• Head for a great Sauna experience

 

Day 3: Explore Helsinki |  Overnight train to Rovaniemi

 

• Start your day with breakfast at the accommodation.

• Check out - drop bags at the train station lockers

• Head out for a day trip to Suomenlinna island Or take the ferry to Tallinn

• Return by evening and enjoy free time

• Late night board your Santa Claus Express train to Rovaniemi

Day 4: Arrive Rovaniemi

• Reach Rovaniemi in the morning

• Explore the city at leisure

• Enjoy the vibe, or you can choose any outdoor activities.

• Evening, head for your Northern Lights Chase Tour

Day 5: Rovaniemi – Lapland

 

• After breakfast, head out to catch bus to Santa Claus Village

• Visit and meet Santa Claus in person

• Explore the village till late evening 

• Reindeer ride at the Santa Claus Village (optional)

• If you didn't get to see the Northern Lights the previous night, try again (PAID)

 

Day 6: Polar Ice Breaker Cruise

 

• After breakfast, head for your Polar Ice Breaker Cruise

• Tour the 7 decks of the ship, from the engine rooms and all the way up to the captain's bridge

• Experience swimming at a temperature of -20°C in the in the middle of the Arctic Sea

• Come back to the city center and soak in the Christmas vibes

Day 7: Explore Rovaniemi

 ​

• After breakfast, start your day by visiting Ranua National Park, where you get to see all the Arctic Wildlife

• Visit Husky / Reindeer farms

• Evening, you can relax or head out for a Lappish dinner experience

Day 8:  Arrive Utsjoki

​

• Have breakfast and check out from accommodation 

• Take the Bus from Rovaniemi to Ivalo

• From Ivalo, take another bus to Utsjoki

• Check into your accommodation

• Evening, head for your Northern Light Tour

 

Day 9: Explore Utsjoki 

 

• After a hearty breakfast, head out for your day activities

• Experience the Snow Shoe Walk with pick up & drop off from your stay 

• Walk through some beautiful scenery “off the beaten track”.

• Later, explore the beautiful Utsjoki town

Day 10: Explore Utsjoki Activities

 

• Today, after breakfast, get on a snowmobile to explore wilderness

• See the pristine landscapes of Lapland

• Relax and rest

Day 11: Arrive Saariselka 

 

• Have bfreakfast nearby and check out of your accommodation

• Take the bus from Utsjoki to Saariselka

• Check into your accommodation.

• Explore the property

• Relax and rest

Day 12: Explore Saariselka | Arrive Helsinki

 

• After breakfast, head out for your Tobagging tour

• Check out and take the bus to Rovaniemi

• Evening, take the overnight Santa Claus Express train to Helsinki

Day 13: Departure 

 

• Arrive Helsinki in the morning

• Transfer to Airport

• Take the flight back to India
