Day 1: The trip starts in Helsinki 

 

• Arrive in Helsinki & check in

• Explore Aleksanterinkatu

• Visit the Helsinki Cathedral 

• Experience local café culture & nightlife​

Day 2: Ivalo  

 

• After breakfast, take the flight from Helsinki to Ivalo

• Head up to North Finland for your stay 

• Lunch at a local restaurant

• Explore the city self-guided

• Northern Lights Tour to Lake Inari

Day 3: Igloo Resort

 

• Bus from Ivalo to Igloo Resort

• Check-in & explore the resort

• Dinner at the restaurant

• Aurora Snowmobile tour in the evening

Day 4: Rovaniemi - Lapland

 

• Husky Safari Tour in the morning

• Afternoon, bus from Igloo Resort to Rovaniemi

• Check in at the boutique accommodation, centrally located.

• Exploring the beautiful Rovaniemi town

• Evening, Northern Light Tour with professional photographer

 

Day 5: Rovaniemi - Lapland

• Visit Santa Claus Village & meet Santa Claus in person

• 1-hour Reindeer Ride 

• Explore the village till late evening 

• Return to the accommodation.

• Try Northern Lights Tour again (paid), if missed previous day.

Day 6: Rovaniemi - Lapland 

 ​​

• Head for Polar Cruise today

• Take the shuttle bus from city center

• Tour the 7 decks of the ship

• Experience swimming at a temperature of -20°C 

• In the evening, optional dinner at the Arctic Snowhotel 

 

Day 7: Rovaniemi - Lapland 

 

• Leisure day today 

• Visit Ranua National Park for the Arctic Wildlife (Optional)

• Have a fun day at Ruko Coaster (Optional)

• Evening, overnight train from Rovaniemi to Helsinki​

 

​Day 8: Departure

• Arrive Helsinki in the morning

• Take the ​flight back home
