Trip Itinerary

Your trip starts at Bagdogra Airport​​

​

Day 1 - Phuentsholing

​​​

  • Arrival at Bagdogra Airport & drive to Phuentsholing.

  • Visit Bhutan Gate

  • Check in to hotel and have lunch at a local cafe..

  • Visit Zangto Pelri Lhakhang  

  • Free time to explore the city.

Day 2 - Thimphu 

​​

  • After breakfast, drive to Thimpu

  • Check in & explore the Thimphu city.

  • Visit Buddha Point & Memorial Chorten.

  • Visit Tashichho Dzong (Optional).

  • Stroll down Clock Tower Square

  • Dinner and drinks at a local cafe.

Day 3 - Thimphu

​​

  • After breakfast, visit Simply Bhutan museum 

  • Enjoy Royal Takin Preserve Motithang Zoo

  • Visit Sangaygang view point 

  • Explore Zilukha Nunnery (Drubthob Goemba)

  • Visit Tashichho dzong view point 

  • Evening, stroll down the main streets.​

Day 4 -  Phobjikha Valley

​​​

  • After breakfasy, leave for Phobjikha Valley.

  • Visit Dochula Pass en-route.

  • Check in to your accommodation.

  • Visit Black-necked Crane Centre

  • Visit Gangtey Monastery 

  • Evening, walk along the Phobjikha Valley

Day 5 -  Punakha

​​​

  • Have breakfast & leave for Punakha

  • Check in to your accommodation.

  • Visit Punakha Dzong.

  • En-route, stop at Punakha Suspension Bridge

  • Visit Chimi Lhakhang.

Day 6 - Punakha​

​​

  • After breakfast, hike through the Samdingkha Trail.

  • Visit Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten

  • Visit Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery   

  • Return to the accommodation in the evening.

Day 7 - Paro

​​

  • After breakfast, check out and move to Paro

  • En-route, stop for amazing views.

  • Check into hotel

  • Hike to Paro Dzong and then back to the town. 

  • Make a visit to the local brewery in Paro.

  • Visit National Museum​​

Day 8 - Paro

​​​

  • Morning – Hike to Taktsang “Tiger’s Nest

  • Visit Taktsang Monastery

  • Explore the local markets of Paro

  • Visit Kitchu Monastery 

  • Indulge in a Hot Stone Bath (Optional)

  • Free to explore the town at your end.

Day 9 - Phuentsholing

​​​

  • Have breakfast and check out.

  • Drive back to Phuentsholing

  • Reach accommodation and relax.

  • In the evening, partake in local cuisine

Day 10 - Departure  

​​

  • The trip comes to an end as per flight timings.

  • Drop off at the airport.
