Day 1: Arrival - Oslo - Explore Oslo 

 

• Check-In - The hostel would be centrally located and would be close to all the places you would be exploring. The capital city has a lot to offer.

• Visit the beautiful "Vigeland Sculpture Park" known for displaying the works of Gustav Vigeland.

• Explore Kvadraturen - the Historical center of Oslo. It is a must-visit.

• Most of the city’s oldest buildings are present in this part of the city. 

• You spend your time walking and getting to know this city.

• Take the walk up to the Royal Palace from Karl Johan gate and explore the streets around it.​

• Dinner and drinks at Grünerløkka.

 

Day 2: Flight from Oslo to Svolvaer with 1 stop layover / Explore Svolvaer

 

• Arrive in Svolvaer & Check into accommodation

• Check into accommodation

• Explore the town centre

• Visit Lofoten War Memorial Museum

• Lunch at a local restaurant

• Stroll along the waterfront

• Dinner at a local restaurant

Day 3: Explore Svolvaer

 

• Breakfast at accommodation or a local cafe

• Outdoor activity (fishing, kayaking, hiking) or cultural visit (museum, aquarium)

• Lunch at a cafe or restaurant

• Explore more of Svolvaer's sights (viewpoints, galleries)

• Dinner at a local restaurant

• Evening stroll

Day 4: Explore Svolvaer / Evening late Cruise from Svolvaer to Tromso

 

• Breakfast at accommodation

• Explore remaining attractions or activities

• Lunch at a local restaurant

• Relaxation or short hike/drive

• Return to accommodation to prepare for a cruise

• Board your cruise from Svolvaer to Tromsø. Enjoy the journey as you sail through the stunning Norwegian fjords and coastal scenery.

• Relax and unwind onboard, perhaps enjoying drinks as you watch the sunset over the Arctic landscape.​

Day 5: Reach Tromso / Northern Lights tour

• Arrive in Tromsø from Svolvaer in the morning

• Check into your accommodation

• Freshen up after the journey

• Take a leisurely walk around the city centre

• Dinner at a local restaurant or cafe

• Evening head for your Northern Lights tour.

Day 6: Explore Tromsø 

​

• After Breakfast Visit the Arctic Cathedral (Tromsdalen Church) and take in its striking architecture

• Explore Tromsø's charming streets and historic buildings

• Relax & have lunch

• Visit the Polaria aquarium and experience Arctic marine life up close or visit the Polar Museum

• Take a cable car ride up to Mount Storsteinen for panoramic views of Tromsø and the surrounding fjords

• Dinner at a restaurant with views of the harbour or city lights

• In the evening head out for the Chasing the Northern Lights tour if unlucky the previous night (50% of the amount to be paid if going again)

Day 7: Flight from Tromso to Rovaniemi

• Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland, is home to an eclectic – and unusual – array of museums

• Reach in the morning by flight

• Stay In boutique hostel - The hostel would be centrally located and would be close to all the places we would be exploring.

• After settling in start exploring the beautiful Rovaniemi town. Make yourself comfortable - relax and enjoy the very first day at leisure.

• Visit the local markets and try some local Finnish Lapland food.

• Evening head out for a guided tour of Northern Lights Chase - Bonfire + Cookies + Hot tea and another guidance from a very professional photographer

Day 8: Explore Rovaniemi / Overnight train from Rovaniemi to Helsinki

• Today, have a late start to the day

• Post breakfast head for a tour of the Santa Claus village where you visit and meet Santa Claus in person

• Explore the village till late evening 

• Return to the hostel 

• Grab overnight train

Day 9: Reach Helsinki in Morning/ Explore Helsinki

• Arrival at Helsinki

• Check-In Hostel - The hotel would be centrally located and would be close to all the places we would be exploring. The capital city has a lot to offer.

• Head out for a self-guided walking tour of the city 

• You are in Finland's capital so start by visiting the - Aleksanterinkatu – one of the main streets of the city.

• Visit the Helsinki Cathedral 

• Take a stroll around Design District

• In the evening head for a great Sauna experience which is a must when in Finland

• Enjoy the cafe culture and nightlife of this city.

• The night is all yours, and if you have nothing to do please head to A21 Decades Bar to try some cool drinks.
