Trip Itinerary

Your trip starts in Baku.

Day 1: Arrival – Baku – City Tour

 

• Arrival at Baku Airport.

• Transfer to the accommodation and check in.

• Explore Maiden Tower (Giz Galasi), Shirvanshahs' Palace / Art museum.

• Pay your respects at Martyrs' Lane - Free entry.

• Dinner & drinks nearby local restaurant.

• Overnight in Baku.

Day 2: Absheron and Gobustan tour

 

• Breakfast at the accommodation to energize yourself for the day's exploration.

• Departure to Absheron Peninsula & Visit Ateshgah Fire Temple.

• Lunch at a local restaurant.

• Yanar Dag (Burning Mountain).

• Continue your tour with a visit to the Gobustan Mud Volcanoes.

• Gobustan National Park & Gobustan Museum.

• Return to the accommodation in Baku.

Day 3: Candy Cane and Shahdag tour

​

• Breakfast at the accommodation.

• Visit Candy Cane Mountains (Qobustan District), Hiking opportunities.

• Drive to Shahdag Mountain Resort, Shahdag Activities.

• Upon arrival at Shahdag, choose from a range of activities depending on the season.

• Enjoy the stunning mountain scenery and the fresh air.

• Drive back to Baku (around 3 hours’ drive).

• Have dinner nearby and overnight at the accommodation.

Day 4: Gabala Transfer & Overnight

​

• Breakfast at the accommodation.

• Explore Tufandag Mountain Resort – Viewpoint is free.

• Visit Nohur Lake, Seven Beauties Waterfall/ Yeddi Gozel Waterfall, Gabala Shooting Club (optional activities available), Gabaland Amusement Park (if time permits).

• Transfer to the accommodation in Gabala and check in.

• Free time at leisure.

• Overnight in Gabala.

Day 5:  Explore Baku City

​

• Breakfast at the accommodation.

• Explore Old City or Inner City is the historical core of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The Old City is the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by well-protected walls.

• Then head out to Nizami Street, which is known for shopping. The street runs through the city's downtown from west to east.

• Lunch at a local restaurant.

• Drive to the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum, which displays Azerbaijani carpets and rug items of various weaving techniques and materials from various periods. It has the largest collection of Azerbaijani carpets in the world.

• After that, visit "LITTLE VENICE" on Baku Boulevard, which is a small town built in 1960. 

• Evening, you are free to explore the city by yourself.

• Dinner & Drinks.

Day 6:  Airport transfer - Arrival Tbilisi - City Explore

​

• Breakfast at the accommodation.

• Check out and private transfer to the airport, ensuring a smooth departure as you conclude your memorable trip to Azerbaijan.

• Arrival, check in at the accommodation.

• Lunch at a local restaurant.

• Head out for City exploration covering: Metekhi Castle, Rike Park, Bridge of Peace, Clock Tower, Cable Car Ride, Monument of Mother of Georgia, Chronicles of Georgia, and Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi. Mtatsminda Park

• Dinner at leisure.

• Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 7: Day trip to Mtskheta, Gori, and Uplistsikhe

• Breakfast at the accommodation.

• We’ll begin exploring the ancient Uplistsikhe cave-town, with its awesome rock-cut vibes and mixed culture.

• Then, we’re heading to Gori, Stalin’s hometown, for a dive into soviet history at the Stalin Museum.

• Next, we’ll hit the 6th-century Jvari Monastery

• Your tour will end at the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

•  Return to Tbilisi & Dinner at leisure. 

• Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 8: Day trip to Kazbegi and Gudauri

• ​Breakfast at the accommodation.​

• You will see the beautiful Zhinvali Water Reservoir, where you can take amazing photos and enjoy the fresh air.

• You will also visit the ancient Ananuri Fortress Complex, Panorama Gudauri.

• Finally, you will reach Kazbegi / Stepantsminda, a charming town near Mount Kazbek.

• Your tour will end at the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral.

Day 9: Day Trip to Kakheti Wine Region Including Seven Wine Tastings

• Breakfast at the accommodation.

• Day excursion to the Kakheti Wine Region.

• Explore some of the most beautiful and historic places in Kakheti, such as Bodbe’s St. Nino’s Convent Cathedral.

• In Sighnaghi, you can admire the views of the Alazani Valley, the Caucasus Mountains, and the Sighnaghi Wall.

Day 10: Private transfer from hotel to airport

​

• Arrive at the airport well in advance of your flight's departure time. International flights often require you to be there at least 3 hours before departure.

• Airport transfer for your departure flight from Tbilisi.
