Trip Itinerary

 

• The trip starts in Reykjavik. All travelers have to reach Reykjavik by afternoon or evening.

• The meeting point for all is the Hostel.

 

Day 1: Reach Reykjavik by the afternoon.​

  

• Meeting point for all the travelers in the hostel. The hostel would be located in downtown Reykjavik and would be close to all the places we would be exploring. The capital city has a lot to offer.

• Food and Walking tour of the city.

• Visit one of the most beautiful churches in the city

 

Day 2 & 3: Snæfellsjökull National Park

 

• After breakfast, we head out to explore one of the national parks "Snæfellsjökull National Park" in west Iceland which is also known as Iceland in a nutshell.

• We make our way to West Iceland, on our stay over 2 days, we will be exploring the following sights: Hraunfossar, Barnafoss, Deildartunguhver hot springs, Reykholt, Gerðuberg, Arnarstapi, Vatnshellir lava cave, Lóndrangar, Djúpalónssandur black beach, Saxhóll, Kirkjufell.

• We also visit the lava cave ( entrance included )

• Stay overnight and the next day we make our way to Reykjavik for a night's stay

 

Day 4: Day trip to Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon 

 

• After breakfast, we head out to explore one of the most beautiful drives and routes known as the Golden Circle. 

• We explore the Geysir geothermal area, then visit the mighty “Golden Waterfall” of Gullfoss, one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Iceland, and then the Þingvellir National Park

• Later we take a swim in the hidden lagoon - natural geothermal pools. ( This can be either at the start or end of the trip )

• Evening head back to Reykjavik

Day 5 & 6: Explore South Coast - Ice Cave & Waterfalls & Jokulsarlon & Vatnajokull

 

• After breakfast, you head out to explore one of the most beautiful parts of Iceland - the glacier lagoon - Jokulsarlon also the Vatnajokull National Park takes you inside the white/ blue Ice cave 

• On  your way to South Iceland, on our stay over 2 days, you would be exploring the following sights: Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Skógafoss Waterfall, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Villages of Vik, Northern Lights Search, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Natural Ice Cave, Vatnajökull Glacier, Diamond Beach, Skaftafell Nature Reserve

• Stay overnight at the hotel and the next day we make our way to Reykjavik for a night's stay

Day 7: Reykjavik

 

• Free Day 

• You can explore the capital city at your speed 

• Visit Blue Lagoon

• Northern Lights tour 

 

Day 8: The trip ends at the hostel

 

• After breakfast, you head back to India or you can continue with your trip ahead.

• The transfer arrangements have to be made from your end to the airport.

• Breakfast is not included for all days - Can be added as per tour timings at 1700 ISK per person

• The warm jacket can be added for rent - 1500 ISK per person 

• Hiking Shoes can be added or rented - 1000/1500 ISK per person

• Visa fees 

• Lunch & dinner and drinks at all times
