  • Info - You travel with a specific itinerary,  stay in a conceptual/experiential hotel with other travelers coming from different parts of India, you explore the culture of the different cities, explore the city - either by walk or by local transport, try the different local cuisine. The trips are focused on experiential travel of wildlife and exploring the culture of that state.

  • The tour manager would travel with a min. group size of 10. If tour size is less than no tour manager, all assistance provided by ground teams. All info on tours and bookings would be shared beforehand.

Trip Itinerary

​

  • The trip starts in Bagdogra. 

  • The meeting point for all travelers is 10 am at the train station of Bagdogra.

​

Day 1 - Bagdogra /  Overnight in Gangtok 

 

  • Reach Bagdogra 
  • Lunch 
  • Drive to Gangtok approx ( 122 km - 4-hour ride )
  • Explore street food culture of Gangtok
  • Dinner & Drinks

Day 2 - Explore Gangtok

 

  • Early morning breakfast

  • We head out to explore Nathula Pass, Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir ( [Internal Note: a permit is required - would be arranged )

  • Late Lunch 

  • Evening you are free to explore the city

 

 Day 3 - Gangtok / Lachen

 

  • Breakfast - Check out 

  • We start our day with a drive to Lachen ( 114 km - 5-hour ride )

  • Stopover at-Chunganthan Town- for lunch

  • Check-in Lachen 

  • Evening at leisure

 

Day 4 -  Explore Lachen

  • Breakfast 

  • We head out for a day trip to Gurudongmar lake

  • Lunch en route 

  • Return by evening 

  • Evening at leisure 

 

Day 5 -  Lachen / Lachung

 

  • Breakfast - Check out 

  • Head to explore Chopta Valley

  • Stopover at-Chunganthan Town- for lunch

  • Lunch 

  • Reach Lachung / Yumthang Valley

  • Relax at the stay

  • Evening at leisure 

 

Day 6 - Lachung

 

  • Breakfast 

  • Head out to explore Yumthang Valley and Zero Point

  • Lunch en route 

  • Return by evening 

  • Dinner 

 

Day 7 - Lachung / Katao / Bagdogra

  • Breakfast followed with a checkout 

  • Head out to Katao 

  • Leave for Bagdogra  ( 221 km - 8-hour ride )​

  • The trip ends in Bagdogra

  • Due to bad weather - if any route changes or plan change -- the extra cost would be incurred individually **

 

Terms & Conditions

 

  • You are an adult and you have to take full responsibility for yourself at all times and respect other cultures.

  •  If you are caught doing anything illegal you would be facing the consequences alone, travel to discover will not come into the picture.

  • You have to follow all the instructions told by the trip leader at all times.

  • When you are traveling alone you have to tell the team about your whereabouts.

  • You have to abide by all the rules and regulations of another country.

  • You would be traveling with other people, you have to respect everyone's privacy.

  • We have a plan/itinerary for the whole trip but some things might get changed according to the situation please be prepared.(like flight delays etc)

  • No refund in case of cancellation of flights of interconnecting flights/trains.

  • We would be staying in backpacker hostel all the time and would be sharing the room with other people, you are responsible for your own stuff and yourself
