  • The trip is a great Italy Road + Wine trip - starting from Historical city Rome - exploring the beautiful square of Rome , later following the road to Montalcino where you wine & dine , enjoy long strolls exploring this beautiful medieval walled city , later following the road  you reach Siena where you experience wine from Chianti Classico, later you head to Florence to soak yourself in one of the most Romantic cities in the world , the heart of Renaissance, make some winery visit privately owned family and last but not the least you visit the beautiful city Lucca and not to forget Leaning tower of Pisa before heading back to Rome.

Day 1 & 2: ROME 

 

  • Today you reach Rome and would be picked up by your 2 guides who would be taking you around this beautiful Historical city.

  • You would be exploring the beautiful Trevi fountain, Colosseum & Vatican city and other very beautiful corners of Rome.

  • You would be guided to try the very delicious Italian food at some of the authentic restaurants in Rome.

  • You would be given ample time to explore this great city.

 

Day 3: ROME – MAREMMA - MONTALCINO

 

  • Today after an early breakfast we drive north to Pitigliano, in the south of Tuscany.

  • Lunch in Pitigliano and drive to the National Park of Maremma.

  • Then drive to Montalcino and check-in at your 3*** hotel where you will stay 2 nights

 

Day 4: MONTALCINO – PIENZA - MONTEPULCIANO

 

  • Breakfast. 

  • Visit of the walled medieval city of Montalcino.

  • Afternoon

  • 25 km east of Montalcino, discover Pienza, a real Renaissance jewel known as the "Ideal City" and the beautiful Palazzo Piccolomini.

  • Then we will head to the gorgeous village of Montepulciano, where we will have a winery visit and tasting.

 

Day 5: MONTALCINO - VAL D’ORCIA - SIENA

 

  • Breakfast.

  • Short drive to the fortress city of Castiglione d'Orcia.

  • Visit and tasting at a renowned Brunello di Montalcino winery.

  • Afternoon

  • Discover Italy's loveliest medieval city, sitting over three hills with its heart being the huge Piazza del Campo, known for its famous Palio horse race. The Campo is dominated by the red Palazzo Pubblico and its tower, Torre del Mangia, along with the Duomo of Siena. An unforgettable step back to Medieval Tuscany...

 

Day 6: CHIANTI CLASSICO

 

  • Morning / Gaiole and Radda

  • Discover 2 gorgeous medieval villages: Gaiole in Chianti and Radda in Chianti where you will love to wander around medieval streets enjoying the spectacular panorama of the vineyard-covered hills all around...

  • On the hills between those 2 medieval towns, you will visit 1 acclaimed winery and taste famous and organically grown Chianti Classico Riserva, olive oil and grappa.

  • Afternoon / Castellina in Chianti

  • Dating back to the Etruscans, this small city has always had a great position in the middle of the Chianti region and a strategical headquarter between Florence and Siena. Today, its massive Rocca (castle) stands proudly over the city and the surrounding hills...

  • All around, vineyards everywhere and 1 winery producing outstanding wines were you will have the chance to visit and taste.

 

Day 7: CHIANTI CLASSICO

 

  • San Gimignano, Panzano & Greve

  • Your journey will take you from San Gimignano, on the prettiest walled villages in Tuscany, then Panzano and its 12th-century castle, and finally to Greve in Chianti.

  • Along the way, you will have visits and tastings at 1 renowned family winery producing amazing Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva and Supertuscan wines.

  • At the end of the afternoon, you will leave Chianti to head to beautiful Florence...

 

Day 8: FLORENCE, CRADLE OF THE RENAISSANCE

 

  • Welcome to a magical, romantic and absolutely one of a kind city. During the rule of the Medici Dynasty, Florence offered the world a stage for great artistic masters such as Michelangelo, Brunelleschi, Leonardo da Vinci and Galileo. Each successive age brought new architecture, art, and creativity which are still evident in the streets, churches, and monuments. Florence embodies the intellectual, artistic and cultural center of Tuscany... maybe even Italy.

 

Day 9: PISA – LUCCA - ROME

 

  • Tuscany would not be complete without 2 of its jewels: the charming town of Lucca which has kept untouched its defensive walls, and Pisa with its famous tower leaning in the middle of the beautiful Piazza dei Miracoli...

  • After lunch, we will head back to Rome airport.

  • You are an adult and you have to take full responsibility for yourself at all times and respect other culture.

  •  If you are caught doing anything illegal you would be facing the consequences alone, travel to discover or FWT will not come into the picture.

  • You have to follow all the instructions told by the trip leader all times.

  • When you are traveling alone you have to tell the team about your whereabouts.

  • You have to abide by all rules and regulation of another country.

  • You would be traveling with other people, you have to respect everyone's privacy.

  • We have a plan/itinerary for the whole trip but some things might get changed according to the situation please be prepared.(like flight delays etc)

  • No refund in case of cancellation of flights of interconnecting flights/trains.

  • We would be staying in low budget hostel all the time and would be sharing the room with other people, you are responsible for your own stuff and yourself
