Trip Itinerary

• The trip starts in Guwahati. 

• The meeting point for all travelers is 10 am at the train station of Guwahati.

Day 1 - Guwahati /  Overnight in Kaziranga National Park 

  

• Reach Guwahati 
• Lunch 
• Drive to Kaziranga National Park approx ( 200 km - 4-hour ride )
• Dinner at stay

Day 2 - Kaziranga National Park 

 

• Early morning we head for our wildlife safari 

• Breakfast 

• Relax 

• Lunch 

• After lunch, we head out to explore Kaziranga National Park 

 

 Day 3 - Kaziranga National Park / Jorhat

 

• We start our day with another Wildlife safari another Zone 

• Breakfast - Check out 

• Head for Jorhat ( 150 km - 3.5-hour ride )

• Lunch en route 

• Evening reach Jorhat 

• Dinner 

 

Day 4 -  Day trip to Gibbon Sanctuary

 

• Early morning - Wild Life Safari exploration in Gibbon

• Breakfast 

• Free day - relax at the property 

• Lunch 

• Explore Jorhat

• Dinner 

 

Day 5 -  Jorhat / Majuli

 

• Breakfast 

• Check out 

• Head to Majuli by ferry

• Lunch 

• Check-in 

• Relax at the stay

• Visit the neo-Vaishnavite monasteries

• Dinner 

 

Day 6 - Majuli

 

• Breakfast 

• Explore the Mishing culture, which still flourishes here. Visit a longhouse ‘tavern’ for rice beer and fried fish.

• Lunch 

• Free day 

• Get together in the evening 

 

Day 7 - Majuli / Jorhat / Tezpur

• Breakfast followed by a checkout 

• Ferry back to Jorhat and drive to Tezpur ( 170 km - 4-hour ride )

• Check-in ​

• Relax at an Old tea estate

Day 8 - Tezpur / Manas 

​

• Breakfast followed by a checkout 

• Drive to Manas  national park ( 240 km - 5-hour ride )

• Check-in ​

• Stay at a wildlife safari lodge with stunning views 

• Explore Manas national park

​

Day 9 - Manas / Guwahati

​

• Head for a safari at the Manas national park 

• Breakfast 

• Check out 

• Drive to Guwahati ( 150 km - 3.5-hour ride )

• The trip ends in Guwahati

• Drop off at the airport or Train station

• You are an adult and you have to take full responsibility for yourself at all times and respect other cultures.

•  If you are caught doing anything illegal you would be facing the consequences alone, travel to discover will not come into the picture.

• You have to follow all the instructions told by the trip leader at all times.

• When you are traveling alone you have to tell the team about your whereabouts.

• You have to abide by all the rules and regulations of another country.

• You would be traveling with other people, you have to respect everyone's privacy.

• We have a plan/itinerary for the whole trip but some things might get changed according to the situation please be prepared.(like flight delays etc)

• No refund in case of cancellation of flights or interconnecting flights/trains.

• We would be staying in a backpacker hostel all the time and would be sharing the room with other people, you are responsible for your own stuff and yourself
