  • It’s a Backpacking Road trip - The plan is to chase the Northern lights from Oslo all the way up to Tromsø and be part of one of the most beautiful festival Christmas. 

  • The trip is tuff as it is a very big road trip and in winters Norway is really cold. The days are very short and nights are dark and very long.

  • This trip is an experience in itself which comes once in a life - You need only one thing for this Trip - " A Brave Heart "  - It's no joke and not a very regular travel.

  • The trip cost would be 84,000 INR  (inclusions and exclusions mentioned below) - 

  • Please book asap because cost will increase with time and we really don't want people to miss out on this epic trip.

  • Come one Come all - No Age limit - If you got the passion to do this . Come do this trip - Travel to Discover 

  • We would be driving from Oslo all the way up to tromsø - the car would be fully equipped for winter driving - A special focus on safety , halts , accommodations , food , hours of driving everyday , route and lot more research is going on.

  • Norway is an expensive country so we are putting in efforts to get the cost right but would be expensive.

  • Trip starts from Oslo and ends in Tromsø .

Day 1 : 17th Dec -Trip starts in Oslo -

  • Meeting point for all the travellers is Oslo . All the travellers would meet at the hostel and need to reach Oslo by 17th Dec evening.

  • Stay In Backpack Hostel - The hostel would be centrally located and would be close to all the places we would be exploring .The capital city has lot to offer.

Day 2 : 18th Dec - Oslo

  • Check out , leave your luggage at the hostel and explore the city.

  • Take the night train to Bergen . The train would take around 7 hrs .

Day 3 : 19th Dec - Bergen ​

  • Bergen is a very beautiful city and in winters its specially a paradise.

  • Stay In Backpack Hostel - The hostel would be centrally located and would be close to all the places we would be exploring .

  • Explore the city

Day 4 : 20th Dec - Bergen 

  • Check out , leave your luggage at the hostel and explore the city.

  • Take the night train to Trondheim or we will drive to Møre og Romsdal depending on the weather conditions and driving conditions.The train would take around 15 hrs .

Day 5 : 21st Dec - Trondheim/Møre og Romsdal

  • Stay In Backpack Hostel - The hostel would be centrally located and would be close to all the places we would be exploring .

 

Day 6 : 22nd Dec - Trondheim 

Option 1: from Møre og Romsdal

  • If we head to Møre og Romsdal then we drive from Møre og Romsdal to Trondheim today early morning

Option 2: from Trondheim 

  • Check out , leave your luggage at the hostel and explore the city.

  • Take the night train to Bodo. The train would take around 10 hrs.

 

Day 7 : 23rd Dec - Bodo 

  • Bodo is a very beautiful city and extremely gorgeous.Its called the entry to North of Norway.We might get lucky and start seeing  Northern lights as we have entered in the Polar light circle. 

  • Explore the beautiful city Bodo

Day 8 : 24th Dec - Bodo to Lofoten islands - Ferry ride 

  • We will take the ferry to one of the most beautiful places in Norway - Loften Islands 

  • Explore Loften Islands 

 

Day 9 : 25th Dec - Lofoten islands - Christmas - Magical Night 

  • Free Day  - Free to Explore by yourself - Today you make your itinerary . 

 

Day 10 : 26th Dec - Lofoten Islands to Tromsø

  • We head to our final destination Tromso for the Northern Lights and a little photography tour for chasing the lights .

Day 11: 27th Dec - Tromsø - Last night of the trip 

​

  • Let's end the trip on a good note - A small party under the sky , few hugs and lots of photographs 

 

Day 12: 28th Dec - Head home trip gets over here - A tuff Goodbye or let us know we will help you in planning your travel in Europe.

  • All Stay at backpack hostels

  • Breakfast at all times - Healthy for sure - Please don't expect anything fancy.

  • Internal transfers either by train or by Car and in worst case of weather being Spoil sport - Flights 

  • Public transport wherever applicable

  • Flights from India to Norway both ways

  • Travel Insurance

  • Visa fees 

  • Lunch & dinner and drinks at all times 

  • Anything not mentioned 

  • Due to bad weather - if any route changes or plan change -- extra cost would be incurred individually **
