• The trip starts in Helsinki. All travelers have to reach Helsinki by afternoon or evening.

• The meeting point for all is the Hostel.

Day 1: The trip starts in Helsinki 

​

• The meeting point for all travelers is the Helsinki Backpack hostel. You need to reach Helsinki by 29th Dec afternoon or evening.

• Stay In Backpack Hostel - The hostel would be centrally located and would be close to all the places we would be exploring. The capital city has a lot to offer.

• Explore the main street of Aleksanterinkatu

• Evening - head to the center to the good local bar and enjoy the night with some beers and get to know this city more.

• The night is all yours.

Day 2: Helsinki / Overnight train to Rovaniemi

​

• We know Finns are coffee lovers - Breakfast and ...

• Let's do a little sightseeing - for all art and architecture lovers - the Kiasma museum is great

• We explore one of the most beautiful churches in Helsinki - not to be missed - Temppeliauko Church or known as Rock Church

• For food /Lunch, we head to the Kallio district 

• Later we explore some beautiful streets of Finland and try to get our hands on some good stuff all depending on your taste.

• Evening we chill at Old market square and enjoy more of this beautiful city

• Drinks and food

• Overnight train to kakslauttanen

Day 3: kakslauttanen - Igloo resort 

​

• Early morning reach Rovaniemi

• Transfer by bus from Rovaniemi to kakslauttanen igloo resort 

• Reach by afternoon - check-in - relax and enjoy the beautiful resort 

• Evening enjoy the New Year's dinner at the Kakslauttanen resort  

• The night is all yours, look above for Northern lights

Day 4: kakslauttanen / Ivalo 

​

• Breakfast at the resort 

• Afternoon move from the resort to Ivalo  - Ivalo is a village on the Ivalo River in Lapland, in northern Finland. It’s known as a gateway to Saariselkä, an arctic resort area to the south.

• Check-in 

• Explore Ivalo 

• Evening at leisure

Day 5: Ivalo 

​

• Breakfast at the apartment 

• Start your day with a tour of a snowmobile or husky ride exploring the Ivalo and different regions around

• Lunch 

• Afternoon free to explore

• Evening head for a Northern lights tour

Day 6: Ivalo / Rovaniemi 

​

Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland, is home to an eclectic – and unusual – array of museums

​

• Breakfast in Ivalo

• After breakfast head to Rovaniemi

• Stay In Backpack Hostel - The hostel would be centrally located and would be close to all the places we would be exploring.

• After settling in we admire the ätkänkynttilä, Finland’s oldest cable-stayed bridge made in 1989 and crosses Finland’s longest river, Ounasjoki, which runs for 299.6 kilometers. At the night is more beautiful.

• Northern Lights chase tour in the evening

Day 7: Rovaniemi - Lapland - Santa Claus Village 

​

• Today, without wasting time we head to meet Santa Claus.

• Head to Santa Claus village 

• Lunch 

• Post Lunch  you are free to explore this beautiful city by yourself or head to Ranua Zoo or go for like snowmobiling, a husky ride, or a Sauna experience

• Evening we head out for some more Northern Lights if possible

Day 8 & 9 & 10 - Rovaniemi / Yllas - Lapland 

​

• Breakfast 

• After breakfast head to Yllas 

• Reach by afternoon

• Check-in into a very beautiful hostel which is right in the middle of nature

• Leisure time

• Evening head out for a self-Northern light chase tour  - optional activity 

• You can also try cross country Skiing

• Get to know the basics of Skiing as it has a ski resort, and go for Cross-country skiing 

• Fat biking and exploring on your own or Go for husky rides 

• Enjoy the Sauna at stay / Relax in the middle of nature 

• Visit the beautiful village of Äkäslompolo 

• Free Days to relax in nature​​

Day 11: Head home trip gets over here - A tuff Goodbye or let us know we will help you in planning your travel in Europe.

• Check out 

• You have a free day exploring Yllas - Take a day trip to Levi

• Evening return flight to Helsinki

• Due to bad weather - if any route changes or plan changes -- the extra cost would be incurred individually *

Terms & Conditions

 

• You are an adult and you have to take full responsibility for yourself at all times and respect other cultures.

•  If you are caught doing anything illegal you would be facing the consequences alone, travel to discover will not come into the picture.

• You have to follow all the instructions told by the trip leader at all times.

• When you are traveling alone you have to tell the team about your whereabouts.

• You have to abide by all the rules and regulations of another country.

• You would be traveling with other people, you have to respect everyone's privacy.

• We have a plan/itinerary for the whole trip but some things might get changed according to the situation please be prepared.(like flight delays etc)

• No refund in case of cancellation of flights or interconnecting flights/trains.

• We would be staying in a backpacker hostel all the time and would be sharing the room with other people, you are responsible for your own stuff and yourself

Refund / Cancellation - You can cancel the trip anytime you want - The refund processing time is 15-20 days

Your package cost Minus  (15k + Taxes + All the tickets booked either Hostels, trains, buses, tours  your name cancellation charges ( Be Assured all details of cancellation would be given to you ))
