Trip Itinerary

 

• The trip starts from Vienna. You have to reach Vienna by 10th Jan'23 afternoon or evening

• Move to Salzburg from Vienna

• The starting point for the trip is Salzburg

 

Day 1: Salzburg

 

• Transfer to Salzburg from Vienna.

• Stay In Backpack Hostel.

• The hostel would be centrally located and would be close to all the places we would be exploring.

• After check-in

• Head out for food

• Evening – Explore Salzburg's Old Town.

• The area is home to many art galleries, boutiques, and craft workshops.

• Take a walking tour of this old town.

• Dinner & Drinks at cafes and restaurants in the old town.

Day 2: Salzburg

​

• After breakfast, head to explore the beautiful Hohensalzburg Castle for great views of the city & Alps.

• Visit the beautiful Salzburg cathedral.

• In the evening, stroll across the beautiful streets of Getreidegasse, which is famous for shopping and food.

• Dinner & Drinks.

Day 3: Bad Ischl

​

• After breakfast, head out to Hallstatt.

• Stay In Backpack Hostel in Bad Ischl. It is a 20 min train ride from the main Hallstatt town.

• After check-in and some rest

• Head to the Hallstätter See - lake in Salzkammergut, Austria.

• Late meal by the lake

• Evening, visit the Cavernous salt-mine museum

• Dinner & Drinks.

Day 4: Vienna

​

• After breakfast, head out to Vienna.

• Stay in Hostel centrally located - close to Oldtown

• You are in the city of music, art, culture, and fine food which is the beating heart of Europe

• Head to one of the most beautiful boulevards and with it explore some beautiful buildings in Vienna.

• Take tram rides, and bus tours of the city and get to know this very beautiful city. 

• In the evening head to the center for some local Viennese food and later head to Kohlmarkt for some more exploration.

• Night head to a good bar for a few drinks. The night is all yours.

Day 5:  Vienna

​

• After breakfast, start with the Hop Hop off bus tour

• Visit the Imperial Palace and later head to visit the Habsburgs' former summer residence - " Schönbrunn Palace". Plan to spend a good half-day at Schönbrunn, a World Heritage site and a marvel of Baroque architecture and garden design.

• Continue with the Bus tour until the evening

• After the bus tour ends you are free to explore the city by yourself.

• Dinner & Drinks.

Day 6: Prague

​

• After breakfast head to Prague

• Reach Prague by the afternoon.

• Check-In: Hostel - Centrally Located-Walking distance from Charles Bridge

• Food and Walking tour of old town Prague.

• Explore Charles Bridge and hang out at a local cafe for dinner.

Day 7: Prague

​

• After breakfast head to Prague castle the biggest in the world to enjoy panoramic views of this gorgeous city

• Later explore-Astronomical clock, Jewish Cemetery, and Walking tour of Oldtown. Lunch.

• Visit the John Lennon Wall & Joh Lennon Pub

• Evening Free to explore the city by yourself.

• Meet up in the Evening - Pub crawl followed by clubbing

Day 8: Prague

​

• After breakfast, you are free to explore the city by yourself. Free Day.

• Head to Petrin Hill or just walk around the small lanes of this city.​​​​​

 

Day 9: Trip ends

• Train transfer from Vienna airport to Salzburg 

• Stay in Salzburg with breakfast included in mixed dorm

• Salzburg to Bad Ischl with 1 change train 

• Stay in Bad Ischl hostel with breakfast NOT included ( can be paid on spot )

• Bad Ischl to Vienna with 1 change train journey

• Stay in Vienna with breakfast included in mixed dorm

• Vienna to Prague train 

• Stay in Prague mixed dorm with breakfast included

• Pub Crawl Prague 

• Guidebook for the trip 

• Visa assistance for the trip full documentation part( Submission of documents to be done by your end )

• Flights from India to and fro

• Visa fees

• Local tourist taxes wherever applicable to be paid in person

• Travel Insurance 

• Lunch and Dinner at all times and if breakfast is not mentioned 

• Anything not mentioned specifically under inclusions

• You are an adult and you have to take full responsibility for yourself at all times and respect other cultures.

•  If you are caught doing anything illegal you would be facing the consequences alone, travel to discover will not come into the picture.

• You have to follow all the instructions told by the trip leader at all times.

• When you are traveling alone you have to tell the team about your whereabouts.

• You have to abide by all rules and regulations of another country.

• You would be traveling with other people, you have to respect everyone's privacy.

• We have a plan/itinerary for the whole trip but some things might get changed according to the situation please be prepared.(like flight delays etc)

• No refund in case of cancellation of flights of interconnecting flights/trains.

• We would be staying in backpacker hostel all the time and would be sharing the room with other people, you are responsible for your own stuff and yourself
