Trip Itinerary

The trip starts in Helsinki. All travelers have to reach Helsinki by the afternoon or evening.

The meeting place for all is the Hostel.
Day 1: The trip starts in Helsinki

You need to reach Helsinki by the afternoon or evening.

Check-In Hostel - The hotel would be centrally located and would be close to all the places we would be exploring.

You are heading to Finland's capital, so start your travel by visiting the Aleksanterinkatu, one of the main streets of the city.

Visit the Helsinki Cathedral

Enjoy the cafe culture and nightlife of this city.

The night is all yours, and if you have nothing to do, please head to A21 Decades Bar to try some cool drinks.
Day 2: The trip starts in Helsinki

Start your day with a day trip to Tallinn

Enjoy the ferry ride and the capital city with a guide

Return by evening and free to explore the city

Head for a great Sauna experience, which is a must when in Finland
Day 3: Helsinki

Check out - drop bags at the train station lockers and head out for a day trip to Suomenlinna island ( Optional )

Take a ferry and head to the UNESCO World Heritage site - Suomenlinna

OR head out for a Free walking tour of the city

Board the night train to Rovaniemi
Day 4: Rovaniemi - Lapland - Time to Visit Santa Claus - Arctic Circle Northern Light Belt
Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland, is home to an eclectic – and unusual – array of museums

Reach in the morning by train

Stay in a boutique hostel - The hostel would be centrally located and would be close to all the places we would be exploring.

After settling in, start exploring the beautiful Rovaniemi town. Make yourself comfortable - relax and enjoy the very first day at leisure.

Head to Santa Claus Village for a small ceremony

In the evening, head out for a guided tour of Northern Lights Chase - Bonfire + Cookies + Hot tea and another guidance from a very professional photographer
Day 5: Rovaniemi - Lapland

Head for a tour of the Santa Claus Village, where you can visit and meet Santa Claus in person

Explore the village till late evening

Reindeer ride at the Santa Claus Village ( optional )

Return to the hostel

If you didn't get to see the Northern Lights the previous night, try again ( PAID )
Day 6: Rovaniemi - Lapland

In the evening, you head to dinner at the Arctic Snowhotel
Day 7: Rovaniemi - Lapland

Start your day by visiting Ranua National Park, where you get to see all the Arctic Wildlife OR go hiking in the Arctic or Canoe trip

OR visit Husky / Reindeer farms

You can try your hands on Skiing

Evening, you can relax or head out for a Lappish dinner experience
Day 8: Ivalo

After an early breakfast, catch the bus from Rovaniemi to Ivalo and head up to North Finland for your stay at the Igloo resort

In the evening, head for a guided snowmobile Northern Light Chase tour, or you can discuss if u want to do any other tour

We would be staying in a backpacker hostel all the time and would be sharing the room with other people, you are responsible for your own stuff and yourself
