Ciao Venice --Buongiorno, We meet again

#Venice Again .

Venice has a special liking for me - This was my 4th time to Venice in last 6 months and the reasons were all the same #dragoste #Multumesc

Venice is a special place in this world and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful & romantic places in the world. 

​

Welcome to Venice was not that great this time . It was raining heavily and finding the hotel took good lot of time and in between lot of events followed but apart from that as soon as I exited St.Lucia train station good old memories rolled back. I still remember last time spending a whole night roaming on the streets of Venice trying to reach Piazza San Marco . #Good Memories

 

Piazza San Marco is  the centre of Venice and filled with happy tourists all the time.The whole atmosphere at San Marco is definitely not to be missed. For cafe experience in San Marco I would say Cafe Florian is probably One of the best cafes with live music. I was introduced to this place by a local . For history and architecture buffs a visit to the very beautiful Doge's Palace for Venetian Architecture is must or you can climb the San Marco Campanile the bell tower of St.Mark's Basilica for panoramic views of Venice.

A day in Venice 

​

Start your day early and explore the areas San Marco district , head to Rialto Bridge one of the very beautiful bridges  in Venice where you can sit in one of the cafes below Rialto Bridge and order yourself a caffe and experience the beauty of Grand Canal.

​

In the afternoon you can explore other districts of Venice like Cannereigo which is quiet and very beautiful. Small -Small bridges very picturesque.The small streets in this district have very beautiful cafes and small Wine bars -A must for all wine lovers when you are in Italy and not to miss the freshly made sweets from small bakery.

Another experience  to take back home is Gandola ride - A must do.

In evening you can head to church of San Giorgio Maggiore opposite of San Marco square for stunning view of Venice Sunset. Venice looks very beautiful during sunset and few lucky get to see this magical landscape or even better you can take the elevator all the way up to the Bell tower of Church for gorgeous panoramic shots of Venice.

In night Venice is more beautiful.I would say you can head to any bar or restaurants near Rialto bridge offering great variety of food. 

 

Take a stroll in night may be you'll come across a different side of Venice. Its a very special place for us.
