Cathedral Notre Dame & Place des Vosges


Notre Dame is the religious centre of Paris. It is known for new Gothic style architecture. It is located at Il de la Cite a small island in the heart of the city.It's a masterpiece and a must watch in Paris.It may not be the largest but one of the most famous in the world.

 

Place des Vosges is the oldest square in Paris which is located in the Marais district.

It's a different place as compared to Paris, it's very peaceful and the park in between with fountain gives the royal place a perfect atmosphere to feel yourself that you are in a different era.

Père Lachaise Cemetery & Louvre Museum & Arc De Triomphe


Pere Lachaise is the largest cemetry in the world located at Boulevard de Ménilmontant having many famous buried at this place.It has become a resting place for many including Jim Morrison.

 

Louvre museum which has become a landmark for Paris is one of the largest museums in the world having an entrance in the pyramid form. In all history,art people it's a must watch and best part is if you are a student it's free.

 

Arc De Triomphe is at the western end of  Champs-Élysées and at the centre of Place Charles de gualle is a famous monument.It honours all the people who fought and died for honour of France in the French revolution with their names on the inner and outer surfaces.
