Trip Itinerary

 

Your Trip starts in Tokyo 

 

Day 1: Welcome to Tokyo 

​

  • Arrival at Tokyo International Airport by afternoon.

  • Check-in at the hostel. Meeting point for all travelers in the hostel.

  • LUNCH at a local restaurant

  • Start with a walking tour of Harajuku and Shibuya Evening Walking Tour

  • In Dinner, authentic Japanese food with Japanese Sake (Rice Wine)

 

Day 2: Tokyo Sightseeing

​

  • Breakfast at the hostel.

  • This morning, head out for a tour of Toyosu Fish Market (formerly known as the Tsukiji Fish Market), the largest fish and seafood market in the world.

  • Explore the city with a Hop Hop off bus tour 

  • In the evening, head out to Mori Tower to witness the beautiful view of the city.

  • Japanese traditional Dinner with Japanese Beverages.


Day 3: Exploring Old Tokyo​

​

  • After breakfast, FREE DAY 

  • Explore old Tokyo which is famous for traditional houses and narrow shopping lanes.

  • Explore Asakusa, the oldest Geisha district in the city, and pass through the iconic gate of the seventh-century Senso-Ji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple.

  • Explore the food stalls, artisan shops, and teahouses of the Yanaka neighborhood and learn about Fumio Asakura, known as the father of modern Japanese sculpture, at his former workshop – which is now a museum (optional)

  • Evening head for Local Bar Hopping and Hashigozake Tour in Asagaya

Day 4: Transfer to Hakone

​

  • After breakfast, check out and leave for Hakone by train.

  • Hakone is a sprawling natural wonderland of hot springs, lakes, volcanic islands, and soaring peaks.

  • Check-in at the hostel, and after lunch, head out to Hakone Open Air Museum, which has thousands of sculptures, artworks, and Symphonic Sculptures.

  • You can also visit the Pola Museum of Art.

  • Evening free for leisure time.

  • Dinner & Drinks at the hostel.


Day 5: Hakone Sightseeing

​

  • After breakfast, take a boat cruise to witness the beautiful Lake Ashinoko.

  • After visiting lake Ashinoko, you can take a short walk to Chisuji Falls.

  • You can also soak in hot springs, Yunessun.

  • Ride the Hakone ropeways to witness the scenic views of Mount Fiji.

  • Tonight, stay in a Ryokan or Japanese inn to truly experience Hakone.

  • Enjoy a multi-course kaiseki dinner with seasonal ingredients.

 

Day 6: Transfer to Fujikawaguchiko

​

  • After breakfast, check out from the hostel and leave for Fujikawaguchiko, by train.

  • Check-in at the hostel.

  • After lunch, rent a pedal boat along the shore of Lake Kawaguchi.

  • In the late evening head out to the famous landmark, Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge to enjoy the night view of this iconic city.

  • For dinner & Drinks, must try some hot noodles, with veggies.

 

Day 7: Fujikawaguchiko - Mt.Fuji

​

  • Conquering Mount Fuji is on every Backpackers list and today you will climb the majestic mountains of Mount Fuji.

  • There are four different trails you can take to reach the summit of Mount Fuji.

  • You will be climbing along Yoshida trails, which are equipped with many facilities and many mountain huts.

  • Dinner & Drinks at Hostel.

Day 8:  Rest Day

​

  • Rest Day

  • Free to explore.

​

Day 9:  Transfer to Kyoto

​

  • After breakfast, check out from the hostel and leave for Kyoto, by train.

  • Kyoto is the cultural capital of Japan for more than a thousand years.

  • Check-in at the hostel.

  • You will take a walk along the Path of Philosophers, a pedestrian path that follows a cherry-tree-lined canal.

  • Night walking tour of Kyoto.

  • Dinner and Drinks at Hostel.

Day 10:  Kyoto Sightseeing

​

  • After breakfast, you will visit the home of a local tea master to participate in an exclusive Japanese tea ceremony with traditional kimonos.

  • Sip green tea, and learn about the beverage’s connection to Zen Buddhism.

  • In the evening, explore the trails of Fushimi Inari Shrine with a local guide, which is dedicated to the Shinto God of Rice and takes around 3 hours.

  • Dinner & Drinks at Hostel.

Day 11:  Kyoto Sightseeing

​

  • After breakfast, you can explore the city on your own.

  • In the evening, head out to Gion, also known as the entertainment area in Kyoto for Geisha Spotting and Geisha Shows followed by a Geisha Dance.

  • You can also take the Geisha evening walk tour.

  • Dinner & Drinks at Hostel.

 

Day 12 Day trip to Nara

​

  • After breakfast, check out from the hostel and leave for Nara, the city full of cultural treasures and heritage, by train.

  • Check-in at the hostel, Rest for the daytime.

  • After lunch, visit the famous Nara Park, and Isui-en Garden.

  • Also, see the Great Buddha Hall at Todaiji Temple

  • Dinner & Drinks at Hostel.

Day 13Transfer to Osaka

​

  • After breakfast, check out from the hostel and leave for Osaka, by train.

  • Check-in at the hostel.

  • Explore Dotonbari, a popular tourist attraction in Japan, running along the Dotonbari Canal, with a variety of restaurants and bars.

  • Dotonbari is one of the best places in Osaka to experience. Kuidaore-style love for food which means ‘eat till you drop’.

  • Lunch in Dotonbari.

  • Spend the night at Kuromon Market, which is known for its street food.

Day 14: Osaka sightseeing

​

  • After breakfast, marvel at the majestic Osaka Castle Park.

  • At Osaka Castle Park, watch the Cheery blossom season as it offers the most spectacular views of Japan. Lunch.

  • In the evening, climb up the Umeda Sky Building for a panoramic view of Osaka.

  • A small gathering with music. Dinner & Drinks.

Day 14: Transfer to  Airport

​

  • After breakfast, check out from the hostel and leave for Kansai International Airport for departure.

  • Due to any unavoidable circumstances - if any route changes or plan change -- the extra cost would be incurred individually

 

Terms & Conditions

 

  • You are an adult and you have to take full responsibility for yourself at all times and respect other cultures.

  •  If you are caught doing anything illegal you would be facing the consequences alone, travel to discover will not come into the picture.

  • You have to follow all the instructions told by the trip leader at all times.

  • When you are traveling alone you have to tell the team about your whereabouts.

  • You have to abide by all the rules and regulations of another country.

  • You would be traveling with other people, you have to respect everyone's privacy.

  • We have a plan/itinerary for the whole trip but some things might get changed according to the situation please be prepared. (like flight delays etc)

  • No refund in case of cancellation of flights or interconnecting flights/trains.

  • We would be staying in a backpacker hostel all the time and would be sharing the room with other people, you are responsible for your own stuff and yourself
