  • Backpacking trip - you travel with a budget,  stay in backpack hostel's with other travelers coming from different countries, you explore the culture of the different country, explore the city - either by walk or by local transport, try the different local cuisine, enjoy the nightlife.

  • Hostels - Where you stay are a very social hostel, so it's not only about meeting people from India but also people from the rest of the world.

  • Trip Description - Travel + Meet new people + See city like a tourist + Socialize + Explore + Eat + Walk + Dance + Drink + Enjoy 

  • Couples/Sole Female travelers are welcome but keep note you would be staying in backpack hostel’s where you would be staying in mixed dorms of either 6/8/10 bed shared by both male and female. Hostels have common bathrooms as well. 

  • Solo female travelers - please let us know at the time of booking if you want to stay in an only Female dorm.

  • Trip cost -  45,000 INR Inclusive of GST

Trip Itinerary

 

Your trip starts at Vientiane. You have to reach Vientiane by Date - 8th Feb'  

 

Day 1 - Vientiane

 

  • Meeting point for all travelers would be the hostel

  • Check-In - head out for food

  • Start our travel by the Tuk - Tuk ride around the city

  • Visit the famous Patuxai Victory monument and later head to Chao Anouvong Park for sunset

  • End the evening at the very famous night market for food and cultural interaction

 

Day 2 - Vientiane

 

  • We start our day by making a visit to the sacred and one of the most beautiful temples of Lao "PHA THAT LUANG"

  • Visit the Lao national museum ( not included + Optional )

  • Explore the Buddha park and visit the beautiful "Haw Phra Kaew" temple or the seated Buddha "Wat Si Saket"

  • Lunch at the local market

  • Enjoy a traditional Lao herbal massage ( optional )

  • Chill in the evening at the walking street

  • Free to explore the city by yourself

 

Day 3- Vang Vieng

 

  • Reach by early morning 

  • Walking tour of the town + Food + Tubing activity ( optional )

  • Enjoy the outdoor sports ( optional )

  • In evening leisure time at the local bars

 

Day 4 - Luang Prabang

 

  • Reach by afternoon

  • Walking tour of the city + Food

  • We make a visit to "Haw Kham" - the Royal Palace of Luang Prabang

  • In the evening we head to "Vat Xieng Toung" the oldest monastery 

  • Sunset by the Mekong river 

 

Day 5 - Luang Prabang

 

  • We start our day by taking a half-day trip to the botanical garden

  • Lunch

  • You are free to explore the city by yourself

  • Head for a river sunset cruise in the evening 

 

Day 6 - Boat ride from Luang Prabang to Huay Xai 

 

  • In the morning we start with our onward journey to Thailand with a slow river cruise along the beautiful Mekong river
  • The journey takes us through the beautiful landscapes of Laos 

  • Sunset at Pakbeng 

  • Overnight stay at Pakbeng  

 

Day 7- Boat ride from Luang Prabang to Huay Xai 

 

  • Start your day with a great breakfast at the lodge

  • The cruise continues with a visit to a traditional Laos village 

  • Make a visit to the cave of 1000 Buddha 

  • Reach Huay Xai immigration

  • Move to Chiang Khong by crossing Thailand - Lao friendship bridge

 

Day 8 - Chiang Khong

 

  • Start early, morning by making a day trip to the Golden Triangle ( optional )

  • Return by evening for sunset by the river 

  • Night market and leisure time in the city 

 

Day 9 - Chiang Mai 

 

  • Head out to the capital of North Thailand - Reach in the afternoon

  • Check-in + Food

  • Walking tour of the Old City inner walls and outer walls

  • Watch a game of Muay Thai ( if possible )

  • Enjoy the evening exploring the local markets and nightlife

 

Day 10 - Chiang Mai  

 

  • Check out 

  • Half-day trip to the "Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep" 

  • Rest of the day at leisure

  • Late-night bus or train to Bangkok

 

Day 11 - Bangkok

 

  • Reach early morning 

  • Check-in + Food

  • Leisure day in Bangkok

  • Small party at the famous Khao San road 

 

Day 12 - Trip ends 

 

Inclusions:

 

  •  Guidebook for the trip

  • All hotel accommodations

  • All internal transfer between different cities either by bus, train, boat or flight

  • Slow boat cruise from Luang Prabang to Huay Xai 

  • Breakfast at all times

  • Walking tour in every city

Exclusions:

 

  •  Flights from India to and fro

  • Travel Insurance

  • Visa fees for Laos and Thailand

  • If renting a bike anywhere in the city for personal experience

  • Lunch & dinner and drinks at all times 

  • Anything not mentioned specifically in inclusions ( any activity or historic places which has an entry fee )

  • Local taxes paid 

  • Due to any unavoidable circumstances - if any route changes or plan change -- the extra cost would be incurred individually

 

Terms & Conditions

 

  • You are an adult and you have to take full responsibility for yourself at all times and respect other cultures.

  •  If you are caught doing anything illegal you would be facing the consequences alone, travel to discover will not come into the picture.

  • You have to follow all the instructions told by the trip leader at all times.

  • When you are traveling alone you have to tell the team about your whereabouts.

  • You have to abide by all the rules and regulations of another country.

  • You would be traveling with other people, you have to respect everyone's privacy.

  • We have a plan/itinerary for the whole trip but some things might get changed according to the situation please be prepared. (like flight delays etc)

  • No refund in case of cancellation of flights of interconnecting flights/trains.

  • We would be staying in backpacker hostel all the time and would be sharing the room with other people, you are responsible for your own stuff and yourself
